We were fortunate enough on our last day to go canoeing! Let me tell you the boys LOVED it. Arthur was a little leary when a man at the Lake let us know the gators were "out, and man are there some big'ins!" Not the thing to say to a man that already had no desire to be near water with 'gators, let alone get in a very small canoe with them. We also had the opportunity to do some "crabbin" this may have been the kids favorite part of the entire trip. Thanks Mama Harv' for all your hard work!!!Ever wonder "how to get the canoes down to the water?"
I don't know you tell me, 5 boys in a canoe? Seems like one would definitely being going in...
Of course MaMa Harv' packed hotdogs to roast and S'mores !
A boy and his fishing pole, what could be more natural?
You only need 2 things to go crabbin Texas style1. A kite string with a chicken leg tied to it, and
2. A very cute little girl with a bucket, and
BINGO, you've got a crab.
It couldn't be any easier!
