Back to Galveston

We walked the beach of Galveston for almost 2 hours. I am so glad we had the opportunity to do this. It was amazing to actually see first hand, a glimpse of the devastation this town is going through.

As we were driving down the highway to Galveston, there were at least 6 boats just sitting on the highway. I tried to get better pictures of the boats, it was hard to shoot while driving. How do you like this first pic "Boat Rentals" with a boat behind the sign.

We saw so many dump trucks hauling trash out of the town.

The town was closed down for quite sometime, and would only let emergency crews in . The townspeople had had enough...
